● What’s the difference between a designer and a planner?
Designers & stylists are still a fairly new concept in the UK wedding & events industry. A designer is an expert who focuses solely on the visual aspects & design led elements of your wedding or event. They focus on defining your individual style and ensure your ideas are brought to life in the best possible way. A designer is usually suitable for those that feel comfortable with their planning and organisation but feel a strong desire for a design led, aesthetically pleasing wedding/event and want help to create something truly personal and unique.
A planner works across the logistics, planning and overall management of your wedding or event. Planners get involved in details such as budget breakdowns, logistics plans, RSVP management and sourcing suppliers that sit outside of the ‘visual’ aspects such as catering and transport.
At Mose & we offer 'design led planning' which encompasses both the planning and design services.
